COMPETITION
Competition exhausts are designed and developed specially for bikes and engines tuned for races, on the basis of the experience made in track races all over the World: these exhausts are a direct evolution of the ones used in SBK and SS bikes.
Competition exhausts are made with the deepest attention to details, they ensure to exploit with the best possible efficiency engines tuned for races: bigger sections, section changes finely designed and shaped, special silencers, top-quality materials.
These exhausts are welded manually (TIG process) and are available in a “full titanium” version or with collectors and manifolds in stainless steel and silencer and link pipe in titanium. In all cases a built-in sensor plug is available, to be able to check ECU settings and make necessary modifications if needed. The sections of the various silencers available give the best performance and the best compromise between performance, dimensions and noise (noise must meet race rules limits).
Style is completed with the carbon endcap and the silencer, depending on application, can be fitted with a removable baffle. Competition exhausts are the top-level exhausts in the market, for style, technology and performance.
RACING STEEL COLLECTORS
Collectors and pipes are a most important component of an exhaust system, making it possible to reach very important gains in terms of power and torque.
Made in AISI 304 stainless steel and, for competition Full Titanium systems, in titanium, Arrow collectors design comes from the experience gained and the results achieved in years of races at all levels, with the un-replaceable “touch” of the master mechanics working in the R&D: diameters, sections, bends, section changes weldings and layout are carefully designed and developed on the bike to create a product with high performance, durable, reliable and with the unique Arrow style.
Depending on engine configuration and its spark timing, the layout can be really different as it’s needed to adapt it to changing needs: that’s why we speak about different schemes like 4:2:1, 4:2:2, 2:1:2, 4:2:1:2 and so on. To follow one scheme or another is a most important decision, to be taken at the very start of the project, and it will influence all the other steps.
To avoid unnecessary drag on the flow of exhaust gases, all junctions and connections are made using CNC-machined parts. For the same reason, all welds need to be perfectly made and non-invasive, avoiding any section reduction for the flow of gases.
PRO-RACE
Pro-Race silencers design comes from the first prototypes made for MotoGP. Pro-Race silencers are built putting together a conical-shaped part (the main body of the silencer) with a cylindrical ending section (ø98mm) and these are available in titanium or nichrom (a stainless steel alloy).
The silencers are secured to the bike by means of mounts welded to the main body, their cone-shaped design provides a reduction of dimensions and weight, but it also reduces the overall volume of the exhaust, thus limitating noise damping capabilities and the application on bigger or demanding engines.
Pro-Race silencers are available both in a street legal and racing version, with removable baffle.
